This year, our Primary 4 to Primary 6 students took part in the Inter-Class Games (ICG) — a key feature of our PE programme that provides meaningful and enjoyable sports competition experiences.

Through modified games such as volleyball, captain’s ball, basketball, floorball, rounders, and football, students put into practice the skills learnt in PE while displaying important values like teamwork, respect, and resilience.

Using Mangostin to Simplify Event Management

A key feature of the ICG this year was the use of the Mangostin App, which helped teachers generate fixtures, record scores in real time, and display live league tables.

Here’s how the PE teachers managed and tracked the games using the Mangostin App:

  1. Teachers accessed fixtures easily from the Mangostin Crew App and entered match scores right after each game.
  2. Scores were updated immediately after each match, reducing paperwork and saving time.
  3. A live league table automatically reflected results — keeping students engaged and excited as standings changed throughout the day.

The live updates made it easy to track progress across matches and added excitement for students as results were later announced to the whole cohort.

Using the app streamlined the competition process and significantly reduced administrative workload, allowing teachers to focus more on observing students’ gameplay, guiding teamwork, and reinforcing positive sporting behaviours.
The school has been using this ICT tool since 2024.

The ICG continues to be a meaningful way for students to build confidence, learn cooperation, and strengthen class spirit — while deepening their understanding that good character is at the heart of every game played.

Mangostin supports teachers in simplifying assessment and event management — so they can focus more on students, not admin.
